The sound of wings

Meeting free horses with Gerhard Stephane Wattine, Rob Pliskin, Olga Platonova, Berenika Bratny, Agata Wiatrowska and…

Authentic and consistent communication

A meeting with non-verbal communication experts. Searching for cohesion at the level of emotion, thought, body and spirit.

Conscious leadership

Leadership is constant learning and drawing of conclusions. Expertise and what we know – it is not enough here. A vision is important. Questions are more important than answers. Noticing instead of knowing.

Horse-Sense means “common sense”

Delivering solution with respect to history and opening for new. Seeing connection to reality as the first step of every way.

International know-how and an original approach

We co-create an international network of facilitators. We conduct comprehensive training for facilitators.

About us

HorseSense was created out of passion for supporting people in their development by presenting the world with the undiscovered potential of horses as trainers and guides. It is the centre of horse assisted developmental programmes and the certified centre of the Horse Assisted Education facilitator trainings. Being a natural born facilitator Agata Wiatrowska brought Horse Assisted Education to Poland and the Central Europe and founded HorseSense. Her numerous qualifications include: a licensed Horse Assisted Education facilitator, licensed partner of HorseDream, coach, and 2nd degree coach of Grupa TROP. For several years she has been the Chairwoman of the Boards of Directors of the European Association for Horse Assisted Education (EAHAE). Agata teaches and supports facilitators in Poland and abroad. Basing on her many years’ experience as the manager in PwC she is a practitioner of leadership and integrated solutions applying them both in professional and private life.

Since 2008 we have been training next generations of facilitators in Horse Assisted Education (the EAHAE license since 2008, the HorseDream license since 2010). Over 100 individuals have graduated the facilitator training programmes and run their own developmental

programmes. Agata Wiatrowska summed up her 8-year experience in running of horse assisted development programs in HorseSense and incorporating an innovative concept of management and leadership into them as the co-author of “Menedżer uczy się od koni”/ “Manager learning from horses” published in 2013. In 2014 we organized the international conference for the Horse Assisted Education facilitators from 18 countries and 4 continents. One of the results of the conference is the documentary titled “The sound of wings – meeting free horses” about the core of working with horses as trainers.

HorseSense is a training centre licensed by both: the European Association for Horse Assisted Education (EAHAE) and the HorseDream network. We co-operate with certified facilitators who finished the “Train the trainer” programmes and the facilitator school, as well as the EAHAE members. With respect to the size of a project we can depend on the domestic and international network of facilitators.

Horse Assisted Education is a fascinating field of development based on contact with horses. As a result of a specific training and relations, horses play the role of trainers. Agata Wiatrowska learnt the secrets of this method from world-known mentors: Karin and Gerhard Krebs from Germany, David Harris from UK, June Guenter from USA, Jackie and Herb Stevennson from USA. She run programmes in several dozen places in Poland and worldwide with over a hundred horses. Her evolving understanding of the role of horses in the method and increasing self-awareness resulted in constant improvements of her programs in the first years of her work as a facilitator. The true breakthrough which left the largest imprint on our team of horses-trainers was the training provided by Klaus Ferdinand Hempfling in Denmark.
